One of those "reminds you how lucky you are" days today - got a friend whose fiance has a bad back, he's in his 30's - had back trouble for some years, went to the doctor last week with pain and within 24 hours was in an intensive care sterile bubble with a full-blown diagnosis of leukaemia.
On chemo straight away, no idea what the prognosis is yet

Guy I'm on course with is in remission from adult lukemia. Caught it late(<6months to live gag) but gave him the most agressive chemo so there's always hope He's also been told to stop f**king eating as he's getting fat again and he was expensive

My niece has apparently taken over the sitting room dressed in full Chelsea kit and armed with bottles of pear cider, with bad language at the ready........she said everyone else has barricaded themselves in the kitchen with earplugs in
