It's doona with an 'a' ;)

I misread the word as doner, wondering what she was sticking a kebab on and why it needed to be cold to do so.

Next Sunday Evening 15th January 2012 there is a documentary on ABC1 at 2315 about the peculiar weather that we had last year. I'll record it because it is way past my bedtime. According to the TV guide:

"ABC News Breakfast weather presenter Vanessa O'Hanlon looks a turbulent and dramatic 12 months of extreme weather across Australia."

We recently went overseas for a few weeks, we can't use our reverse cycle until the power has been turned on for eight hours. Expecting it to be roasting summer weather when we got back in December we arranged for our neighbour to turn the power on the day before. So glad he did it for us, we actually need the heat full on, the house was like an ice-box.

Heard a radio documentary which insisted that even though we've had some very cold days in 2011 the mean average temperature has gone up by about one degree. Next they'll be telling us that all politicians and business leaders are totally honest.

So warm last night that I took all my clothes off and lay on top of the bed.
I thought I'd passed the hot flush stage.

Going to jump in the pool this arvo to cool off- it is only 24 degrees, so does the job nicely.
