coffs harbour

hi all,
can anyone out there help me out on information about coffs harbour. my husband has got a job offer there for 2 years and i am nervous about making the decision to move from sydney where we have settled in well over the past year.
i would love to hear about high schools, be it private or public. my daughter will be in year 10. also what suburbs are good for familys pref near the schools, and near the beach would be a bonus!
any experiences of coffs would be much appreciated. many thanks
