I have a feeling he prefers Co-op and gets a little cheesed off if you mention another type of supermarket. Best to keep it quiet :eek:

Might be. Give me a list and I'll check it out. Our primary import partners are: China (15.4%), USA (12%), Japan (9.1%), Singapore (7%), Germany (5%), Thailand (4.5%), UK (4.3%) and Malaysia (4.1%) which doesn't leave a lot of room for 3rd world food exporters, but you never know. :)

They seem to get screwed every which way
They love it, the sexy devils!

A trip to Wales was not a trip to Wales until you'd popped into a Spar.

Nothing like waking up on a cold morning in the passenger seat of a car and seeing the red and white to know you'd crossed the border.

Growing up I always liked the Co-op, a supermarket with a conscience. I remember they were selling fairtrade chocolate and coffee, and biodegradable plastics bags years before the rest of its competitors.

Does anyone else have similar fond memories?

Oh yeah, would love to have them here.
