I'm still around. Divorced in 2014, remarried on 24 August this year. We were in Scotland for 4 weeks for our honeymoon and I loved it. It was beautiful! We even got to see the queen, Charles and Camilla at Braemar.
Sam (as in Alan and Sam) is still in Perth. I catch up with her too infrequently but do see her.

We applied in 2006 and moved to Brisbane area in 2007. We came back to Canada in 2010 to be near family while the kids were little. It turns out that was a good decision as we both lost our dads between then and now. I’d still love to return to Australia at some point once the kids have moved on to University. I really loved it there and am definitely missing it now as it will be winter here in Canada right away!

Our oldest will graduate in another 1.5-2 years and she’s planning on moving back to Australia to go to University (hopefully Melbourne). She says she wants to stay in Australia after that. Only five more years until the youngest graduates so who knows what will happen after that.

I haven’t been on the forum much (or at all really) since we moved back to Canada. I’ve been checking in on it more frequently though as I kind of miss following all the goings on.
