Default Citizens Advice Bureau or Similar

I hope someone can help. Do you know if there are CAB type places here in OZ for some free advice. It's not really financial info I need as I understand that Centrelink would be the place to go.

I don't really have the finances to go down the Solicitor route either. Any info would be great.

We do have Citizen Advice Bureaus here also there are free legal services which you can attend. If you need documents signed in Victoria the courts have JP's available for this purpose also.

Yup CAB I think are pretty much universal. If you are impoverished then there is also Legal Aid if it is a legal issue you need help with (it's means tested). Dont know that financial information would be forthcoming from Centrelink unless it pertains to one of their benefits but there are other organizations which do financial counselling - all depends on the state you live in as to what they may be called.
