I'm emigrating to Adelaide, SA in July and want to open a bank account. Can anyone recommend a good one, with plenty of branches and are easy to deal with ( a difficult one for anyone living in Scotland). Also, where are the better places to live in and around Adelaide - should I avoid any particular area's for any reason?

We used the CBA as we could open an acccount in london and then transfer money out to Oz when we wished. The CBA migrant banking section in Adelaide were excelent and were very helpful.
