You'll be looking to share a shipping container.

I shipped boxes and personal things. Anglo Pacific excess baggage. They were fine - although no doubt others would have been fine too as not much involved.

Had 1 large suitcases, tea-chest of hifi seperates, two large standing speakers, 3 book boxes (smaller than teachests), bicycle and surfboard. Worked out to be about 33 cubic feet.

Price was £500 pounds to Sydney: approx 400 shipping and 100 liability costs (2,000 cover). In addition to that was Oz quarantine charge A$175. Another option if you're flying BA is to stick it all in suitcases and pay (approx) £75 per extra suitcase to take it with you on the flight.

Try www.ezdelivery.co.uk.

Haven't used them myself, but heard good reports and seem cheap.:)

Hmmm, I used EZ delivery to send out 3 boxes on 12th January by air freight, supposed to be a 1-2 day service. They use DHL. I still don't have the boxes; they dropped off the tracking radar 4 days after arriving in Melbourne and have only managed to track them down through contacting customs myself so might have them by the weekend. My advice, use a carrier like Excess Baggage that specialise in sending stuff to Australia and actually know what they are doing!!!! I wish I had!

(If you did decide to use them, it was £290 for 3 book boxes totalling 57kg)
