Ditto. I am sick to death of her having some sort of breakdown, just to get a couple of nights in hospital instead of prison and her damn family telling the media about it so our local news (she's a local girl) are full of her 'struggling'. Do the time quietly please:frown:

Of course, it's hard to notice when someone puts an extra 9lbs in your boogie board bag. Mx

Especially when she did not carry it herself... would have made it very hard to notice...

And once charged, that's it, according the the Indonesian Judge...

The chief judge in her trial declared his hand when he boasted during the trial that in 500 cases involving drugs he had never acquitted anyone.
Guilty till you can prove yourself innocent...

Unfortunately, guilty or innocent, we will probably never really know for sure.

I used to know Ron Bakir pretty well during the whole trial period and he is one of the most loyal and trustworthy guys I have ever done business with. For him to believe she was guilty is enough for me to make my mind up about her

Hardly any of her close family have not been charged or convicted of drug offences.

I think she couldn't be more guilty. People always try to smuggle drugs and some get caught.

So she is guilty because 4 people, that she knew by association, were 'accused' of being involved with drugs.

And THAT = "she couldn't be more guilty".

That is your conclusion not mine. Do some research into Mercedes bar in Bali.

I think she was guilty, but what any of us think is all irrelevant. Bali officials considered her guilty, she keeps failing at appeals and she's going to do the time regardless of how many times she claims sickness and mental problems.

It is highly feasible, but I think the case itself left a lot to be desired for a conclusive outcome that couldn't be questioned in the way that it has been.

Of course, but that's par for the course with many countries judicial systems.

If Chapelle wasn't a young, attractive, straight female, there wouldn't be so much debate about it. Rene Lawrence is in the same Bali prison and hardly gets a mention.

The mere fact that other members of her family were convicted in Australia for drug-related offences...... the fruit never falls far from the tree????
