Changing codes

I have been an avid Crows supporter for 20 years, but after today, I am tempted to swap to Soccer, and support my almost home team of Swansea, just relegated to Premier division.
All I need now is someone to explain the offside rule to me:p

If you think their PROMOTION to the premier league is a RELEGATION then I don't think there is a lot of point learning the offside rule.:eek::thumbsup:

Here's the Offside rule explained in a way Girls can understand :)

The offside rule explained for girls:

You're in a shoe shop, second in the queue for the till. Behind the shop assistant on the till is a pair of shoes which you have seen and which you must have.

The 'opposing' female shopper in front of you has seen them also and is eyeing them with desire.

Both of you have forgotten your purses.

It would be totally rude to push in front of the first woman if you had no money to pay for the shoes.

The shop assistant remains at the till waiting.

Your friend is trying on another pair of shoes at the back of the shop and sees your dilemma.

She prepares to throw her purse to you.

If she does so, you can catch the purse, then walk round the other shopper and buy the shoes.

At a pinch she could throw the purse ahead of the other shopper and, *whilst it is in flight* you could nip around the other shopper,
catch the purse and buy the shoes.

Always remembering that until the purse had *actually been thrown* it would be plain wrong to be forward of the other shopper.

HTH....

Wonder if I'm allowed to ban someone for being a Swansea supporter? Relegation for them can't come soon enough :sneaky:

Unfortunately yes, its a bit like this Origin thing, everyone at work talks about it for several weeks and goes sick the morning after. :D
I'll stick to proper football thanks :), even if Forest are stuck with another season as an also-ran

If Forest were ever good enough to get to one I'd make sure I went to work the next day celebrating :D

No hard feelings, good luck supporting Swansea, they just aren't my favourite team right now

That's more confusing than the actual offside rule!
