Default CCTV Solves Crime - or does it?

Not only do they not seem to have any effect at all but the number of cameras in London staggered me.

"The internal police report found the million-plus cameras in London rarely help catch criminals."

Wanna know the worrying thing? NSW Police are about to do the same thing and they are using London as the standard they should look up to.

At this point in time with technology, they are useless to stop crime. However they do play a pretty good role in helping solve them.
