BBC iPlayer - does it ask for UK address?
Hi all,
Apologies if this has already been answered, I did a quick search and found posts on this topic but none that answered my specific question.
My question is: once you've got yourself a VPN and gone to iPlayer, does it ask you for UK address details/a licence number or do you just have to tick a box to say you've got a licence?
I'd rather not ask either set of (annoyingly) law-abiding parents if I can use their details!
I guess I could try it myself to see what it asks but that would involve paying for a VPN which I don't really need if I can't use iPlayer
Thanks in advance.

However, they have been hunting down VPNs, so make sure your pick is safe. You should be able to get a free trial.

Your biggest problem might well be that a VPN that works today might not work tomorrow, as they shut them off.
