Car window tinting
I bought a new car on the weekend and resisted all the paint/fabric/plastic/rust protection bullshit that they threw at me ('normally $3k but I can do it today for $2k with window tinting thrown in for free' yadda, yadda). So I am now looking to get the car's windows tinted. What's good out there? Any recommendations?

Cool. The girl trying to 'sell' me their product said that tintacar window film turns purple over time. Not sure how true that is. It's probably bullshit.

I bought canvas seat covers for $200 instead of Scotch-guarding them. |

I just got my new crew cab Ute done $290 for the darkest legal [35%] with a 5 year warranty. Cars were $250. Local independent company, fitted electronic rustproofing for $300 at the same time.

Don't forget to add your 'My Family' stickers on the back when the tinting is done :)

That's a great price. The only place I can find over here to do sunroofs wants $3500 to do one on my car. The old man thinks I don't need one all that badly. :D
Is that to fit a sunroof, or tint one? S |

I bought canvas seat covers for $200 instead of Scotch-guarding them. I've ordered neoprene seat covers. Not cheap but they look really smart and are very comfortable. |
Re: Car window tinting
when I bought my VW a few years back they tried the same sell on me. Found out later all they do is take it to the local Tint-Mart anyway. So went there directly and saved about $500
