Perhaps. Its a hard one to call but I chose Lennon simply because the game is a must win and not really the type where you can gamble on Milners fitness.


The crazy thing about this all is if, and its a very big if, we do somehow manage to win the game we're in the last 16. The big teams are looking suspect and they all won't make it through to the knockout phase. This cup is there for the taking. Not one team here are the real deal in every department. The Germans, outstanding in the opening game were made to look ordinary by Serbia. The Argies, great going forward but suspect in defence. Even Brazil have stuttered so far.

Capello is a lucky manager, he won La Liga with Madrid playing some of the most negative football I've ever seen. Don't write England off just yet.....Well not until wednesday night
