Just to say a big thank you to Carmel.

Last night we had our Canberra meet up - 4 couples from BE at Carmel's home for a BBQ (thanks to her hubby Chris).

Daughter did the driving she was our (Deso) designated driver so we both could drink.

It was good to get together with the Canberra Crew - and hopefully another meet planned for November when there should be another 2 couples out here.

It was great for everyone to be able to meet up and meet new people! And thanks to Jade You and Pete were able to enjoy a tipple! Keep that medal in a safe place it's worth a mint!!!::blink:

I'd just like to say too, thanks to You and Pete for inviting us around when we first got here for a coffee and the good advice:thumbup: And.......for welcoming us into your home for dinner, It was really kind of you both:D. Mel was gorgeous!!:thumbsup:

Mel? Whose Mel? I meant Meal!

You know, my little nephew (the tinker!) picked most of the letters off my laptop keyboard and for some reason you really have to press hard on the letter A or it doesn't register!

Most frustrating!!!:confused:

Mel - I thought 'now I am sure I wasn't that drunk that there had been another person there called Mel!!!????

I have put the medal in the cabinet with Pete's prize crystal collection - I feel this is only right and proper:rofl:
