Well i can - i had just given birth to my beautiful first born son, Thomas (AKA Turtletom).
Happy Birthday son - I love you and miss you so much
When sometimes people say to you 'what is the best thing about being a parent?' my reply is - 'looking at my son and knowing I did something right!'

by the time my kids get to 21 I just hope I am still in a state to remember everything about them and I can be as proud of mine as you are of yours

It was the year I left school so in May I was probably doing my O Levels or at least revising for them. In between time I was working part time in Timpsons shoes in Lancaster and drinking my wages in the local pub! I was 6 months away from meeting Mr Northernbird.

I was at sea on board Hms Conqueror on sea trails prior to a Big trip to the South Atlantic. Thinking back it wasn't much fun, but a few months later it got better.
