And now we have a Morrison budget that apart from punching down on job seekers (fairly pointlessly) looked for all the world like a centre-left budget.

Great, yet more income tax - how about cutting some spending first before raising taxes - there are more than enough passengers (aka civil servants). Chop some of them and give the money saved back to the people

This is not a conservative government - but then the electorate is not prepared to listen to listen to reality and would rather hear fairy tales instead

Maybe it was centre left, the housing part was looking after the investor though. No penalties there, just throw money at the FBH and watch prices go again. Time to invest in your 5th and 6th investment property. Jump on board.

The ideological load you carry on your shoulders must indeed weigh a ton. No doubt this burden is such that thinking on a rational level becomes a feat near impossible.


Socialists of course fight for the betterment of their country. Which is why the standards of living are so high in northern European countries. Which in turn make them patriots.
