Let me know if you can read the above....
Ah more scare tactics.

I read a couple of the comments but couldn't possibly go any further when one guy accussed the Liberals of not doing anything to stop tax evading corps.

... and we all know the Libs have been the only players who have actively been tackling tax evading.

Scare tactics for sure. But very important too. The agenda of the Coalition after the last election showed their true objectives. It was all about cutting and no building. Privatisation of Medicare fits their profile as much as anything does. They see the success of Commonwealth Bank and Telstra after privatisation and see a success for Australia. Maybe so, but they will most likely try and apply the same logic to health care. They don't want to spend money on health. They want to spend money on defence. Both are important. Health care needs to be a public service. But, what really needs to change is the requirement for GP visits for things such as renewal medication prescriptions. That's free money for doctors and a bottleneck for genuine patients needing a diagnosis. Too much red tape in the health care system.

This scare campaign might prove to be BS but maybe only because it happened. If it stops the federal government from privatising Medicare because they've been forced to say they won't, it was worth it. Of course if Abbott was still PM and got re-elected even after insisting it would not be privatised, he would probably still do it.

Also, as he is not PM now is there any chance he will be forced to provide evidence that he renounced his British citizenship? Someone on the NXT team got caught out on this.

The nutters, your choice of word, are those that vote for austerity and ever greater division in society by a party that promotes flawed policy in favour of the big end of town, that being the ill named Liberals, of course.

Right, well when a government manages to serve a term without breaking promises then you might have a point. If the Coalition had campaigned with a GP co-payment policy it would have been honest. Instead, it decided to wait until the votes were in to reveal their real plan of cutting and privatising.

Also, The Abbott led coalition was all about scare campaigning. You were ok with it then.

Seems as if your problem is not learning from experience.

There were many claims that abbott got in on. "We will not cut the ABC", "Telstra will give us their copper network for nothing", "Health and Education are safe in LNP hands". Immediately he's in, he's doing most of them.

So, who are nutters?

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

or

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, ...... never get fooled again.

Sorry who's has been actively lying in the campaign?

The ALP's are the only ones in that boat with their medicare scare campaign.

You are starting to get fooled on what might happen rather than what is actually happening?

Err, the LNP, consistently. Even you must realise how many lies have been told on the NBN - it's virtually nothing but lies from the LNP. Later, more expensive, slower, less resilient. The list goes on.

Turnbull said he wasn't even considering the possibility of thinking about privatising Medicare - except it was demonstrated, with evidence, that they had spent $5m studying just that, and that it HAD gone to cabinet.

And then he lied about lying about, and had the hypocrisy to go after Labor for point out that he had been lying.

Err, nope. As above, and from past history, there is ample evidence that you'd do better trusting Jimmy Savile.

Nice try. You do realise what you are missing don't you.

The government is looking to outsource (if you want to call it privatise go nuts) the IT systems delivering payments because the current systems are out of date, full of red tape and not productive.

You've been drinking too much of the BS kool aid

A simple yes or no would clear it up. You either do or you don't. I don't understand the secrecy. Would you support a full privatisation of Medicare?

You should know by now you can't lead me down your garden path. I don't play by your rules. I play by mine.

Your rules massage the truth to suit your own agenda. A bit like the ALP
