For those overseas reading these bushfire threads, I feel it's important to let people know that whilst there is a major drought that has affected all of NSW plus a lot of Queensland. A large part of Australia is not affected. Melbourne luckily has missed the major part of the drought. Indeed the most bushfire prone region in the world around Halls Gap in the Grampians in Western Victoria has escaped entirely. Which is unprecedented in itself.

So to illistrate here's a couple of photos taken from my local park 8ks from Melbournes CBD here in Coburg.
