Bus driver punched in the face

A bus driver was dropping off a group of about a dozen teenagers when the last one punched the driver in the face for no reason. What on earth possesses someone to do something like this ? I really don't get it.

Whats that smell... Dec 12th 2011 7:59 pm

Yeah, I've had to deal with a few bus drivers that really needed a punch in the face.

Not being a person with violent tendancies I must say that I have encountered a few in my time who were asking for slap. The most recent I recall was during the Ashes. I live in Redcliffe, just outside the Brisbane City Council boundary and I thought, like many people that you got free public transport if you had tickets to the game. I boarded the bus and showed my match ticket to the bus driver. The fat wanker just looked at me for about 5 seconds and said "what do you want me to do with that?". I replied that the ticket said I could get free public transport, to which he said "not from here you won't be!", I looked at him puzzled and he then went on to say that I was the 20th person that day to do the same and said he thought I was going to punch him (no idea what gave him that idea). He was already sporting a black eye, I just replied back to him saying that I had no intention of attacking him and that perhaps if he was less shirty with people he wouldn't get people trying to hit him so readily.
Absolute twat that guy was!

Sickening. I'd disown my son if he did that.

Nice to see that someone on here doesn't see it as a joke. I would be taking my son straight down the cop shop in the unlikely event one of ours would do such a disgusting thing.

Of course, if in the unlikely event that your Tarquinn did assault a bus driver it would be because he had assimilated too well into the Australian culture

Seriously? Your relationship with your son is that weak? It's a serious offence obviously but disown? Bloody hell.

Crumbs that a bit strong! No my son and me are incredibly close and he is being brought up to know right from wrong. On reflection, perhaps disown was a bit strong, but I'd definately dob him to the police and it would fundamentally change our relationship for the worse, as he would have crossed a line. To actually punch someone for no reason is very, very worrying.

if your talking about the story on the gold coast?
they didnt just punch him, they robbed him.
it wasnt for fun, it was a crime and happens all over the place every day. doesnt make it right, but not a huge story
it might be for the bus driver, but a lot more happens on the coast every day without hitting the headlines

in the same week a gold coast man got napped creating a child porn site and got 3 and a half years
he will serve 12 months!

now thats something i really dont get!

The lead bloke in the local pantomime production Aladdin was raped by the gay genie on stage last night, to be fair the audience did try to warn him!
