The thing I hate most about Brown is when he scrapped the tax free status of pension contributions. Damning an entire generation to poverty in their old age.

Agree. GBP5 billion extra he is taking. Yet people still voted for them. IMO one of the things that Australia is way ahead of the UK on is the pension system. The tax breaks that Costello has brought in are just too good to ignore. It will be interesting to see if the socialists under Rudd will keep them.

More importantly, what the **** is going on with his lower jaw when he talks? It's like it suddenly dislocates every now and then and drops a few inches.
