Well now we know the british military forces are crap and have finally seen sense,they want to hook up with the much superior French fighting forces,i rest my case unless you wish to discuss.:thumbup:

Must admit it sounds a bit revolutionary, when you consider the history of the two countries, and the mutual mistrust of many of the population.
Under the deal, when France’s single carrier is out of service, Britain’s one vessel could conduct missions for both nations, and vice versa. French planes could fly from Britain’s new carrier, and British jets could be based on the French carrier. Sounds logical in theory, but how long would it take to actually get the two Forces working together I wonder?

To be fair the French seem to have a very potent strike force.

Well as a scottish born Brit, I reckon that this is a good strategic move.

I don't know anything about whether or not Britain has a better or worse military than France. But anecdotal evidence and hearsay suggests that the french are pretty average.

This is coming from the UK and French governments and not their armed forces. Both countries are broke and cannot afford their militaries as they stand now.
