All I see is a dip in the very early 80's where they went from being priced out the markets due to the Unions, and then a strong rebuild afterwards.
It was bigger when she finished being PM than when she started.

Not "afraid" to spend mate... Can't spend what I haven't got.... Actually, no, that's wrong... WONT spend what I haven't got in spite of having access to thousands of $$$$$$$ on credit.... Won't go there .....

Exactly people are not splurging on credit and have gone back to basics. Frustrating for banks and short termist politicians but good for the long run.

Were we frustrating banks? we used to spend our excess income.... Now we have no excess income.....

Wise move. If only folk would go on a spending strike and enforce a return to reality prices.....
