Never needed to drive back in Brighton, so I never learnt, then I had shingles really badly when I first arrived in Aus and my eyes have been dodgy ever since, and aren't reliable enough to get a licence. So its public transport, shanks pony, or a taxi when escorting drunken friends home or when its too hot or wet to walk up the mountain. Its not too bad coming up one side, but the other side is a killer, even Bernie used to say it was horrible, and he's a whole lot fitter than I could ever dream of being!
