Doesnt matter where in oz you are i am just looking for the newspaper,job sites from your area so i can look for a job!!!

My name kinda gives away what im looking for!!!

Also what is there much demand in your area for bricklayers..

Hi im on the Gold Coast and Sites are... www.seek.com.au and www.careerone.com.au and www.jobsjobsjobs.com.au

Newspaper is The Gold Coast Bullitin... Job Paper comes out every Wednesday and Saturday... but you have to but the paper at like 7am and call asap as the jobs go very quickly...

If you are still in UK it's unlikely that you will get a job here in Australia. There are plenty of brickies already here, with visas, looking for work who are able to start tomorrow. Unfortunately building has slowed down and lots of trades are finding it more and more difficult to find work.

The sites Soapy'sbairn has given you are national, so you can check out vacancies over the whole of Australia.

I'd suggest you do a search on this on this site and see what crops up, you may be in for a shock.

In a nutshell theres very little work around for any trade in the construction industry, its pretty dire at the minute.

Theres on average 200 brickies applying for each job so you can imagine its tough.

Wages vary from $220-$250 per day some as low as $200

Sorry to sound negative but thats the way it is out here at the moment.
