Sorry asprilla,i didnt see this until today
Ours in in Illoura Avenue,great spot and 5 mins walk from the beach.
Timed it a few times now and def do it in hour and 10/15

any good pubs on the island ? places to eat out at all, or takeaways etc?

I've only been to bribie once. We took a drive over there and went to the beach at woorim, went to the surf club too.

Not been out to eat or drink much,there tends to be lots of fishing done when we go down.Not that we catch much at the moment.
Woorim is great,and for calm water for little ones Sylvan beach is good when the tide is out.

ah. Sounds superb. You might go up there one weekend and find I've moved in! ho ho.


Here's a fishing tip for you - buy some rump steaks and before you cook them, cut off the rind (leave a tiny bit of meat on the rind too). Use the raw rind as bait. The bigger the piece - the bigger the fish. Good thing I've found with this bait is that it stays on the hook no matter what!
