Just been watching on the Beeb about the recovery of Gabrielle Giffords

Brave woman and amazing recovery after just 11 months. Still a long way to go and some of the video footage her husband took of her recovery is heartbreaking, but she has done so well.

Many of us (including me 
) would just have folded up and collapsed with injuries like that. I honestly don't know where people get their reserves of strength from.

I watched it and was amazed by the recovery after such a severe wound.
