Brainstorming
Now I count myself as just a normal bloke (some might argue) and I've always thought that terms and phrases as listed below were used by pretentious tosspots
Brainstorming We need to be behind the 8 ball on this guys We need to make sure all the ducks are lined up Thinking outside the box Pinging someone an E-mail etc etc etc However, I was on a plane back from Melbourne yesterday and picked up a paper to read during the journey, and I virtually pissed myself when I read that an un named council in the UK has banned the term 'brainstorming' because it may upset epileptics Instead of previously inviting colleagues to a brainstorming session, staff are now required to send out invites to, and this really is a corker, A THOUGHT SHOWER'. WTF is going on man, does no-one speak plain English without fear of upsetting someone else or appearing behind the times with their management speak?? World get a grip:curse: |
Re: Brainstorming

I have however introduced the office to 'numbnuts and twxt'. My contribution to the international office. |

Strange old world, eh???? Jules x |

My cousin went for her degree ceremony this week for the OU and they have banned mortar boards as when everyone throws them in the air in celebration, there have been eye injuries!
