The only Boxing Day/New Year sales that I'll be getting involved in will be online ones. Shudder the thought of wading through thousands of turkey-full bargain-hungry shoppers

Could do with a new mobile phone. ...Maybe tomorrow

A great majority seem to be Asian.

Personally I stay away from all that madness. (Sales, not Asians!)

Yep, stuff that, the only spending I will be doing today is at the pub tonight watching the football!

Thought I needed to go out and get milk and was not looking forward to it. Then I remembered I'd got a couple of small cartons in the freezer. Yay! :D

I don't normally bother with Boxing Day sales as you can usually get just as good deals all year round, but we needed some stuff for our camping trip tomorrow. So I headed down to Anaconda this morning and picked up a couple of camping mats and some accessories for the bike rack. It was pretty quiet but JB, The Good Guys, Retravision nearby were rammed

In over 30 years I've never seen more people milling around Bondi Junction than I saw today.

It was total madness. Had to queue up just to get inside Westfield. Queues 20 deep to get a fitting room in DJs, queues 20 deep to hand over your money.

God knows why we went. Every year I say never again and every year we seem to find ourselves there.

Wife and I were down in Chermside Mall. We got there early, but eventually it was very full on and somewhat suffocating. Loads of dawdlers also and 'sudden stoppers'.

I think I'll let my fingers do the walking next year and shop online.

Went down to the spotlight sale at shocko after brunch.. Brought some fabric... But not a lot...just Aussie Christmas ones...

And christmas cupcake stands for a couple of bucks each.

And some ribbon for 25ct a roll

And some Xmas cellophane bags for presenting goodies in... Namely my cupcake pin cushions I make... Look good all dressed up ...and my brownies and fudge....

Agreed. The idea of ramming into shops in the hope of finding unspecified bargains just holds no logic for me. It's good that so many people are spending their dosh though ...I think

Don't think they're that great from what has been advertised with the biggest joke being the Myer website going down again & again & again.....
