'Robert Irwin ... leapt head-first at the Cape York killer, wrestling its jaws closed with his elbow.'

Looks like a rope round the crocs mouth.

That family has done more for Australian tourism than billions of tax payers money and certainly more for animal awareness and conservation than most organisations.

Who cares if they grab the limelight every now and again. I don't begrudge it.

I do and I do. Not convinced on the animal awareness and conservation argument and certainly not convinced by the tourism one either. Obnoxious woman. I would imagine either some book is about to come out or numbers are down at the zoo.

I watched Australian Story with Old Bob Irwin the other night. I'm sure Steven Irwin would be turning in his grave at the treatment of his father by that woman. I would rather go visit and donate to his his new project than visit Australia Zoo now.

Aussie tourism at its finest...

Irwin said the zoo would be "spectacularly Vegas" while respectful of the animals....

Isn't it time the ATO started a witch hunt against them then?
