Just finished reformatting my comfuser so have been unaware of your helpful forecast these last two days

Played golf yesterday in 5° and a howling gale - lucky I had kept my old skiing longjohns and thermals! Today it soared to 7° after a night down to -2.5° and windy with it. Felt colder than Anchorage

It's really bloody cold up here. It was very grey all day as well and honestly looked like it could snow. Got the woodburner going full whack but can't feel it. Hot bath calling.

Just come back from the shopping centre with winter pj's, scarves, track dacks, gloves, you name it, we go it. It's so damn cold and I've got to head out to the ballet studio shortly to pick up kid and friend and whenever they get in the car, they turn the temp down on their side from the 27 degree's I have it on to about 18 because they say they're hot after two hours of ballet and point classes!

I did the school run in a short-sleeved shirt, I am the local entertainment.

The other parents have either put on a shedload of weight or used their entire winter wardrobe in one hit.

Even grade 12 lads were cold today. It was cold. You're weird.

I'm a warm-blooded mammal, unlike the lizards around here that appear to enjoy the summer.

I like rosy-cheeked girls and steaming mugs of tea.
