What a great night and a fantastic send off and not a ban in sight.Cheers to broad shoulders,kporte,the bloke,ems,viv,polly,soapy and kid,paul netty,bobby linda,a proper BE send off,much appreciated and will not be forgotten.My love to you all.

I've been deluged with texts about tsunami alerts (think they are trying to drown Bernie before he leaves!) but not got your text even now, nor another couple people swear they sent in the last 24 hours. I got one this morning sent last night by Linda asking if we were in the pub - that took over 12 hours to reach me!

And of course only Bernie could announce his departure with a tsunami warning. I will take personal responsiblity for it, because having booked an entire week off work, I left on Thursday morning with the words "I don't give a stuff if a tsunami hits Brisbane this weekend, I am NOT coming in to work!"
