Default Big Night in Perth's Northern Suburbs

Whilst we were having a few quiet drinks to farewell a friend whose funeral we had been to it seems that a few people were "giving it large" in our neighbouring suburbs:

"Police were pelted with glass bottles in their attempts to break up an out of control party of 250 people at a Currambine home last night.

Eighteen police cars were called to the Wilcannia Elbow home where people were smashing bottles on the street, running through neighbouring properties and fighting amongst themselves at about 11pm."

I mean a "steam roller" FFS - did the kid have to light the boiler and wait for the pressure to build up before beginning his rampage or what?
