Default Beware petty theft in holiday areas

Just got my bag nicked from a Noosa Beach. Apparently hoilday units are often targeted by thieves too. Be warned. Full story on my blog. It's not nice being stranded at the beach without your car keys and wearing only a bikini that's a couple of sizes too small. Hope you guys can learn from my mistake

What alot of people do if going to the beach, is to take it in turns to watch the gear while the others are in the water.

I learned to never leave my things unattended on a holiday beach many years before I even moved to Australia.

Opportunity theft is centuries old everywhere in the world.

Yes, but it wasn't much of an opportunity for this thief as the contents of the bag had zero value

It happens all over.

My copy of "Into the great wide open" went last week.
