Go through the gates on the right and as you walk up you'll see that cars park ahead of you but there'll be several people hanging around the main entrance to the left... from the road, behind the closed gates, it can look like there's no way in...

OK, thanks...I 'm sure that will make perfect sense when I'm there.

You will have to let us know what Tetsuya's is like. I am still keen on going!
We went to Icebergs for lunch a couple of Fridays ago, it was really good.
Really beautiful location and the food was tremendous.
I would recommend the salumi platter and also the mozzarella as a starter, in fact that and some bread would make a perfect lunch all on its own. Really nice relaxed and down to earth service, although a bit lacking on descriptions of the food, and with two menus and loads of specials it was needed!
Still totally delicious lunch, I would recommend and will definitely be back!
Now your turn, any suggestions for a roast dinner sunday lunch? I want a proper pub style sunday lunch, pork, crackling, gravy, spuds, and something gooey for pudding. Any suggestions???

There are some great places to eat in Sydney. Cafe Sopra at Fratelli Fresh in Waterloo was always fab. Other good ones I remember are Il Baretto and BirdCowFish in Surry Hills, Manta in Woolloomoolloo, 3 Clicks West in Annandale (but I have heard it's not there any more) oh and the African place in Newtown, Kilimanjaro has the worst service ever but good cheap food.

This must be one of the classics in Sydney at Wooloomooloo which has been there since 1945
