I was about to recommend amaysim as well. $39.90/mth unlimited voice calls and text, 4gb data. And they're on the Optus network.

Whats the rate for calling other mobile networks... I cant see it on their website ? Do they have a flagfall for calling other mobile providers.... got to admit if you combine it with a Pennytel voip account via the dataline It could be worthwhile

It looks like it is all included in the $39.90 plan so who cares!

I actually thought it was only to Landlines.... Now that is good... So I have learnt something from this thread. Hmmm might have to reconsider my contract choice in November now... just gives me more negotiation leverage though I'm guessing 3 and Vodaphone will respond with like and include a phone for the same price.

Cool, thanks all for the help - mucho appreciated

i think $40 a month for unlimited is good, seems to be no strings attached too

When the iphone breaks (and no doubt it will!!) will reassess my options!!
