Becoming selfemployed in oz, help/advice
 

After being employed in oz for nine mths, ive taken the decision to start a business on my own but havent a clue where to start, abn, tax,etc.
only a one man band to start with.
so any advice would be greatly appreciated:thumbup:

Try this link, http://www.sbdc.com.au/body.asp they have local centres that provide advice and consultations, there is one in Perth that I visited during my recce, really helpful and encouraging, good luck:thumbup:

Your local office of fair trading will probably have a few booklets about starting your own business. You can get the ABN online at the ABR website.
