Bargain of the week thread

Might be a useful idea to post up what people consider to be bargains, just in case other people are interested.

How about a DVD player, 1 year warranty, USB port, Mpeg4 (divx) 5.1, and progressive scan, for 35.00 bucks. Thats about 13 quid.

Makes a mockery of bringing over a DVD player from the UK.

Available from Aldi from next Thursday.

I'll do it here, It's compatable with a home theatre,(5.1 DTS) and plays most internet film downloads (MPEG4's- AVI files) without having to convert them to DVD format, Also supports HI Definition tv (progressive scan). These products were 300 bucks or more, about 15 months ago. Oh and you can plug a USB Key into it and play music/video/photos straight off your computer.

Hopefully someones got some beer bargains for tonight ;)

I love aldi, the one at carseldine brisbane is always full of indians and poms, the accents:D its just like manchester. We go in for yorkshire puddings and jaffa cakes. Rich ignores us and is straight down the 'junk' lane, dvd's, phones, they even had a laptop recently $600. The $35 DVD sounds good.

Probably, havn't checked out the code pages for that yet.

The alternative is to convert your DVD's to AVI files, and they will run in it.

Ok my next bargain, is

Melbourne Victory Family Memberships, for 2 Adults and 2 kids, 330 bucks for the season General admission. Quite simply the best fun and outstanding entertainment, 16 home games plus the finals.
