I'm not sure if many of you know but The Barbie has it's very own quiz, started by the lovely Wendy many years ago:

It's fallen into disuse recently but used to be a lot of fun. I was quite good at it too.

Let's get it going again so that I can kick all your asses (apart from NB).

is there a time penalty?only I got 9 out of 10 but only 5 points.
Failed on the ice hockey.Seemed too obvious.

Yep.
I used to do reasonably well on another forum but stopped doing them cos I was always penalised on time.
It wasn't that I was Googling answers or anything but I am a slow reader so always took a few more seconds than other people.
They should be renamed speed quizzes.

The 'score' (not how many points you get) is worked out like this - you get a 100 for each question you answer correctly but the time you took in seconds is deducted.

So if you scored 7 right in 30 seconds, you'd have a score of 670.

Each player is then ranked according to this score. If a player scores the same as another player, the one who played first will be listed first. At the end of the day, this order is what determines the points you get. The more players who play each day, the greater the number of points available.

I nearly forgot yesterday, just got in with 12 minutes to go!

Was lucky today, some good guessing! I'm rubbish at movies, even when the level is Easier!
