back to England.

Back to England tomorrow for a couple of months.

Need to check out that my house isn't full of Polish immigrants and that the Uk has not 'gone to the dogs' in the last few weeks.

Looking forward to a break from decorating, some decent beer and pubs that I don't need a mortgage for, a warm house in the mornings and some peace and quiet from the bloody possoms and birds.

Oh......and also to attend my youngest son's wedding:thumbsup:

Will miss the nice winter weather and the fishing here but will be back in September.

Not looking forward to the flight but needs must.

"honestly, you won't recognise the place"
said to me by a British woman I met in New York when I'd only been out of the UK for six months.

Have fun

Thanks Bix.....I have never enjoyed the flight but it has to be done:(

Elfman.......If my old home turf has changed then the world will be about to end:lol:

.....the retired colonels will be out in force writing letters to the evening paper, the Times and getting up a petition.

I certainly intend to have fun and my first stop is a local real ale pub that stocks over 30 proper beers:thumbsup:.....I need to stock up for the next several months in the desert.

Wear your money in your sock.

Don't go out after dark.

Do not stare at people at the traffic lights, supermarket checkout, petrol station etc.

Do not go out drinking on Thurs,Fri or Sat nights.

Otherwise enjoy !
