I thought it was great despite a mega hangover (OH's birthday party) but don't sit too close!

Amazing. This may be the only film I've ever gone to see more than once.

I don't think I could have sat through it with a hangover... when the special effects were in full force I found I felt like I was moving with the screen (at bit like cinema 180s back in the 80s/90s).. if I had had a hangover I would have had to close my eyes through a lot of it or I'd probably throw up!!

Saw it in 3D at Imax Glasgow.

Good special effects, thought the storyline was a rip off of Dances with Wolves and far too cheesy.
Am an avid Sci-fi fantasy fan but thought this was totally overhyped.

looks like most people agree that the story line was pish but the 3D was fantastic

I would urge everyone to go see it. the 3D is worth it on its own

For me it's the fact that it is plotted like the juvenile fantasy of a 15-year-old where he goes to an alien planet and in three months becomes a better Na'vi than the Na'vi who have been Na'vi all their lives. He tames a dragon, bags the hot daughter of the tribal leaders, leads the tribe into battle and emerges victorious to lead the tribe in future.

The only thing bluer than the alien dudes were my balls at the end of the movie when the dude scores with a 9 foot tall cat lady.

And anyway where in the immediate f**ck were her nips !
