Yes, it does all depend on one's personal leanings. I was brought up on the Darling Downs in Queensland 150 miles west of Toowoomba, and couldn't get off the farm quickly enough. Left to "see the world" at age 23 in 1963, and ended up on a small Caribbean island in 1978. I drive about 3000 miles a YEAR, and so does my wife in her car. What a contrast to my childhood! I only get off the island once a year, and am happy as a sandboy - to coin a phrase.
