Australians demanding more checks on Pommy migrants
'England seems to have gone to the dogs. Half the population are pissed 75% of the time, their pubs are open 24/7, racism is rife, and their politicians have taken graft and corruption to a new level.'
'Who wants them here anyway, whinging, bludging and unwashed. Where does a pommy hide their money...under the soap.'
'We need to look more closely at the Pom migration, we don't want the likes of Vicky Pollard and Daffyd clogging up our Centrelink offices and a nation which is accepting of gays, and increasing congestion on Oxford St.'

They don't associate the word pom with the Scottish - only the English (well, according to most Australian's i've spoken to about it).However, most Australian's relate to England as the UK!
Which is the most annoying thing in the world - after smokers that is!

In my experiences Aussie just call all people from the UK (Irish included) Poms. Most Aussies cannot tell the difference between Scottish, Northern English and Irish accents
