Know what you mean as the Grand Canyon was formed when a Scotsman dropped a penny down a crack:D

No offence to any Scots - I like scotch eggs:p

Well, I 'cracked' that joke at my elder sister wedding to a Scotsman - his bestman let him down so I stepped in:eek: I've found the opposite of thriftiness to be true of the Scots - well his friends and family didn't kill me.

On the UK, magnificant scenery, lots of historical aspects, great diversity or different things to do in a smaller land mass, great shops and a easier to live day to day life (more online shopping, catalogues, more choice with utilitiy companies etc)

Once you have lived (and travelled) in Australia for a while, you will be sure to add 'magnificent scenery' and 'great diversity' to its list.

That is a nice thing to say about Australia...........and you are right (I have travelled there) but in the UK there is a smaller land mass to cover to see the diversity...............well not everywhere and all places but at least sometimes
