Australia’s Economy is a House of Cards
Very long article about the Australian economy but well worth a read.

A house of cards being about right. A foundation built in sand never likely to survive a change in climate. Good luck , deck chairs , lack of transparency etc....... all thrown in the mix ....hard to see what could go possibly wrong

Of course having the fastest population growth in the western world, (perhaps outside USA) due mostly to excessive immigration hides in part some of the issues while illuminating others.

Why would I be leaving when blindly obvious from your posts, as an example, that there is so much work to be done saving folk from drowning in their own ignorance? Futile as that may be.

Perhaps get yourself some personal insight and travel and find out. Don't believe all you read in Daily Express or associated media with own agenda. Most of all rid yourself of your ignorant prejudices that are all too apparent on this forum. There are certainly issues as would be expected in any nation with the sudden, dropping of border controls in admitting a large number of incomers. There are plenty of positive stories coming out as well. In such cases one may witness humanity at its best and worst. You would need to read German and home press to get a true feeling of the diversity of opinion on such matters. |

Your purpose of being Onya Herm Never know you may learn a little about how to discuss the Australian economy en route. That is the subject up for discussion. |

when 30% dont know their interest rate....
i think 50% have been property muppets, generating a self fulfilled problem. what does residential property have to do with business? You would expect by linkage of oz bankers its part and parcel of doing business. |

Although hardly productive. No worries. When the prices tumble the banks know full well to big to fail. The people to the rescue. |
