Aussie Xmas Day.. what you gonna do?
We intend doing our annual ritual in the baking heat...
Open pressies..
then head down gold coast to mates for xmas dinner..
then head to mates at Munruben for xmas party...
back home, wipe dribble off my chin .. crash out and watch WIZARD OF OZ lol

Round my parents ... open pressies ... fire up barbie ... get stuffed ... go to beach (though we'll be alone there because apparently no aussie steps foot on the sandy stuff on xmas day 
) ... have swim/surf (possibly even patrol if I get short straw) ... come home and watch the Italian Job, or possibly Goldfinger .. rejoice that I'm not in blighty and picture the drizzle in my old home town and imagine the endless adverts for boxing day sales.

I cannot for the life of me understand the people who have spent a fortune at christmas, ran round like headless chickens and fought their way through the endless queing....to go and do the same thing the bloody day after.

Open pressies, bacon sarnies and champers on the beach, round to a friends house for a party, drink copious amounts of all sorts of alcohol, various meats off the Weber and into the swim spa in my undies with a couple of attractive young women. Crash over and do it all again Boxing Day. Christmas is so boring

Get up, open pressies, have bacon butties by the pool whilst the kids swim, down to the beach for a couple of hours, round to a friends for traditional Xmas dinner and then walk round to other friends for a drink (or 5 )

I will probably be having my last Xmas in the UK (for a while at least) with the in-laws. FIL makes fantastic roast so won't be too much of a hardship....

Mrs M will likely be at work so it will be just another day really. We're making up for it by spending a week (including NYE) down on the Gold Coast - got a wedding to go to as well.
