In the UK, and coming from a construction background..

if someone said to me thats a mickey mouse job, I would have chinned them !!

In Australia.. its the opposite.. fgs Mickey Mouse means good, top quality.. awesome..

Goes back to the days when they used to pick up the buckets from the outhouses here in Melbourne.
