Yeah I'd much rather a Dubai summer than a UK winter ant day! A chilled pool in your compound is a must for the middle of summer though - it's like swimming in a dirty tepid bath otherwise.
The girl child also has to drink more coffee when it's cold and apparently was served instant coffee even in cafes. The cheese and onion chips were awesome though.
