Never in a million years Even when it's been really dry and brown, you only need a bit of rain to bring the green back without resorting to watering all the time.

I'm with you but there was a thing on TV about people replacing their lawns with artificial turf ... it'd go well in the Fountain Lakes estates, none of that nasty loose blade and dirt business.

Our next door neighbour is like that, he's in his early 20's. He is at one with his 2 stroke blower.

Mr P works mainly in Toorak installing air con in multi million dollar houses. He was astonished at the number of people having Astroturf laid to finish the very expensive house. Real grass is so passe these days darhling.

Isn't it? You can hire birds with volume controls too so they don't wake you at 5:30 after having one too many Chardonnays discussing property prices the night before.

All you have to do is get A Man in to sweep the turf occasionally and you needn't raise your gaze from the Plasma for the whole weekend.

It's it mmmmmaaaaarvellous?

Birds actually have a 'no fly zone' over Toorak- they can't afford to. The fine for crapping on a Toorak tractor is beyond the budget of most little feathered friends.

Shocking.

Because the blocks are so small in yer typical QLD Legoland estate if any birds have to land to rest their legs then they have pay a percentage of the mortgage. AND keep quiet whilst Deal Or No Deal is on.
