Asking for something as usual !!
 

I know I don't post on here as regular as I used to but as the saying goes in the North East...."shy bairns get nowt!!"

I have been very cheeky by posting this but its a sure fire way of you all finding out what I am doing for charity.

"THE RACE FOR LIFE"

Over the last few years Professional Princess and Geordie Mandy (amongst others) have done this race and raised a wonderful amount of money and awareness for the charity with the help of BE and others.

If you can give a little it all helps and it also encourages me to run the race and not walk it!!!! Not many of you know me but I am no athlete so by doing this, even though its only 5km it will feel like a marathon. If you are a UK taxpayer, at least an extra 25% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you when you tick the Gift Aid box. So go on....please give a little donation for a big cause, it all helps.

It's the right place. Would be a good idea though to put the link in your signature and then post lots. Hopefully you'll get more money that way. Good luck :thumbsup:

Thank you Sam. Have just watched the video (after watching the cats :o) it was very moving. Absolutely brilliant how everyone comes together for a good cause. I am looking forward to doing my little bit and will let you all know how things are going.

I am nearly 1/2 way to my target already :thumbsup: - not doing the race till July so heres to a good couple of months of begging and pleading.

Another update for you all.

I have now started the jogging side of training. I used to only run to the end of our road and be out of breath.....well now I am very proud to tell you all that I can run nearly!!!! a full 2 miles with a little stop in between :o
I have to say its not as easy as it looks. I certainly admire all the other runners in the world.

I have now GONE OVER my original fundraising target :thumbsup::thumbsup: thank you everyone. So come on....keep donating.... dig deep :)

Well two weeks to go before my race and I have to say I am quite proud of myself :thumbsup:

Considering about 3 months ago I couldn't run to the end of the street....now I can run (roughly) just over 3 miles.

My sponsorship has gone over my initial limit so another :thumbsup:

Come on then guys help me out and get me over my target for a good cause.

Well its two days now till I do my "Race for Life" and I am really excited about it.

Have just realised that I have broken my second sponsor target of £250
:thumbsup: thanks to everyone who has sponsored me :thumbsup:

Hopefully will update my funds after Sunday to see what I have raised in total.

So come on all you good folks....last chance to dig deep.
